Seaforth is a beautiful Fisherman's Cottage and is located in the wonderful fishing village of Gorran Haven. The postcode is PL26 6JH. Your Sat Nav will most likely try to route you via Mevagissey (the neighbouring village which has extremely narrow lanes) so is not recommended. Instead, please follow the B3273 past the lost Gardens of Heligan. You may want to make note of Heligan Gardens as they might be a spot to visit during your stay. Drive on through Gorran and into Gorran Haven, rolling gently down Bell Hill.
Follow Chute Lane down hill, passing the Llawnroc Hotel on the left. Once past the Llawnroc Hotel, the road narrows and you have a sharp right hand turn into Church St. This is a steep lane leading down to the Beach. You have now entered the old fishing village of Gorran Haven. Seaforth is just 30m down Church Street on the right hand side.
Stop in the road to unload bags and family members. (Any local traffic will wait while you unpack, the villagers are used to it for all properties in Church St.)
Once unloaded, continue to drive to the bottom of the street and follow the road to the right, leaving the beach to your left, and head up into the main village. You pass The Haven Chip Shop and Cafe on the left and the bakers and convenience store, Cakebreads (and Post Office inside) to the right. You continue to head away from the beach. The main village Car Park is 250 meters along this road on the right hand side. Daily and weekly parking is available.
Once parked, you can walk back and rejoin the family with all the un-packing at Seaforth no doubt well underway. If you miss Seaforth first time round, (don't worry, you wont be the first or the last). Simply do a loop of the village and try again as Church Street is one way.
